Janet Bennett
Piano
Piano music has been a passion of Ms. Janet’s as long as she can remember. By her senior year of High School, she began teaching professionally. “Classical music has always been my specialty; however, I also provide my students genres such as praise music, popular music, jazz, Broadway, or Disney to name a few. I teach the Music for little Mozart’s series to very young children ages 5-6, and for students 7 and older I select a combination of materials pertaining to their goals and learning style (from praise, classical, pop, jazz, Broadway). Music brings joy and creativity to all participants, and it brings me much joy to choose personalized curriculum for each one of my piano students, challenging them, inspiring them, and providing opportunities for them to flourish.” Janet is an active member of Music Teacher’s Association of California and students can participate in Certificate of Merit programs. Each year, Ms. Janet offers recitals along with a Christmas recital and community outreach.
